Bicentennial Pastport Registration

Calling All Washington Businesses! Join the PASTport to Washington Adventure and help celebrate our city’s 200th birthday!

PASTport to Washington is a fun, community-wide passport program celebrating Washington’s Bicentennial. Residents and visitors will visit local businesses and organizations to collect stamps in a special booklet while learning local history. Completed passports can be turned in for prizes!

How Does It Work for My Business?

  1. You display a historical marker (we provide it).

  2. We give you a stamp to mark visitors’ passports.

  3. People stop by your business to get stamped—no purchase necessary!

  4. You get visibility and increased foot traffic during the celebration.

Does it cost anything to participate? Nope! Participation is completely free for businesses and organizations.

What do I need to provide? Nothing but a little space for: The historical marker sign (we provide), The stamp (we provide), A smile!

Do I have to be open certain hours? We’ll ask for your regular business hours so we can include them in the passport booklet. Participants will visit during your normal hours—no extended hours required!

Can I offer a promotion or freebie? Absolutely! While it’s not required, offering a small treat, discount, or giveaway can help make your stop more memorable and engaging.

When does the program run? The PASTport to Washington runs August 10-25, 2025 as part of the city’s bicentennial celebration.
